  1. Population and dissenters: The number of Families in my Parish is about two Hundred & eighty. There are no Dissenters, but one woman who is a Roman Catholic.

  2. Public or charity schools: There is a Charity School lately sett up & endow'd with ten pounds yearly for ever. Six pounds a year is settled on a Master for instructing 8 poor boys & 8 poor Girls in Reading for 2 years & £4 a year towards Cloathing them at their Entrance & new Bibles at their going off. Care is taken to instruct them according to doctrine of the Church of England & to bring them to church on Sundays.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There is no Alms House or Hospital but an Estate about 13 pounds a year value, purchased by some benefactions & contributions of the minister & Several chief of the parish for the Benefit of Poor people not receiving Relief from the Parish – & several annual Sums one of 20s: for 500 years (another of 20s: another of 13s: 4: another of 10s: & another of 6s: 8d: which are all payable for ever out of particular Estates as mentioned on a Table sett up in the Church. These are collected by the Church Wardens & annually distributed by the Feofees of the Poor Estate who are some of the Principal Inhabitants (the Minister & Church=wardens being always Part) as the Purchase deed sett forth.

  4. Residence upon cure: I reside in the Parsonage House.

  5. Curate: I have a Residing Curate living with me, My Son, ordain'd & Licens'd by your Lordship – his allowance is 34 pounds yearly.

  7. Frequency of divine service: All Sundays twice with a Sermon – on the Holy days at Easter, Whitsuntide & Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Ascention day, twenty ninth of May, eleventh of June, & on the Fifth of November, & thirtieth of January a Sermon.

  8. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament of the Lords Supper is administred four times in the year – At Easter, Whitsunday, the Sunday after Michaelmas, & on Christmas Day.

  9. Number of communicants: There are about four hundred & fifty Communicants in my Parish – about fifty usually receive, the number of them who communicated at Easter last, Sixty & upwards.

  10. Catechising of children: The Children are catechized in my Church on the Sundays after Trinity as any are Sent. The Families are calld upon the Sunday before in a particular Portion of the Parish till the whole is gone through with, my Parishioners send their Children & apprentices.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: No.
